Ruben Studdard Isn’t Ready To Say Goodbye To His ‘Taco Meat’

Ruben Studdard is ready to shed some pounds on the reality show The Biggest Loser. However, the American Idol winner isn’t ready to bid farewell to his “taco meat.”

According to the singer, “taco meat” is the hair that covers his back, shoulders, and chest. Although trainer Jillian Michaels wants to get rid of it, Studdard isn’t quite ready to say goodbye to one of his “sexiest” features.

“Y’all have womanized men. Back in the day artists [like Marvin Gaye] would be having their taco meat showing on album covers and everybody liked it. But now nobody wants to show the taco meat no more. I’m bringing the real man back,” the singer recently told People magazine.

Michaels, on the other hand, isn’t exactly a fan of Ruben Studdard’s “taco meat.” Instead of letting him rock the body hair, the trainer is eager to shave it off.

“We’re going to have to wax that back of yours. Look how much you’ve got here. Like and inch and a half of shoulder hair,” she explained.

However, Ruben Studdard doesn’t exactly agree with the personal trainer’s opinion.

“Jillian is a hater. I don’t appreciate that. You know, I think everything about Ruben Studdard is sexy,” he explained.

The Inquisitr previously reported that Studdard is the heaviest contestant on The Biggest Loser. Before filming on the latest season began, he reportedly weighed 462 pounds. Unfortunately, the singer said he didn’t have time for one final “pig-out” session before shooting started on the new episodes.

When The Biggest Loser comes to an end, Studdard told The Associated Press that he plants to start work on his next album. He also intends to find ways to keep his life calm and steady. Every day reportedly starts out with a little Ruben time.

“I have to get up every day and give myself the two hours that I need to keep myself together before I even get into any music stuff, and that’s just going to have to be how I do it,” the singer explained to the publication.
