Camille Grammer Underwent ‘Radical Hysterectomy’ For Endometrial Cancer


Camille Grammer underwent a “radical hysterectomy” on Friday, October 11. The procedure was ordered after Grammer was diagnosed with early stage endometrial cancer.

Speaking to Us Weekly Camille’s rep says “The surgery went very well and she is expected to make a complete recovery following a significant recuperation period.”

Grammer is the ex-wife of TV star Kelsey Grammer, and the mother of two.

According to her rep Camille “was at elevated risk due to genetic issues and has been diligent about regular check-ups and monitoring which explains the early detection and rapid treatment.”

Camille’s rep says the Bravo star “expresses gratitude to all the amazing health care professionals who have taken such loving and nurturing care of her…She urges all women to be aware of genetic factors relating to women’s cancers and get regular check-ups.”

Camille Grammer is best known for her season one and season two appearances on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Grammer returned for season three, but in a smaller, featured role. The reality TV star is not expected to return for season four. The show will instead feature new stars Joyce Giraud and Carlon Gebbia.

Leading up to her surgery it was business as usual for Camille Grammer who recently tweeted the following message:
