Verizon Wireless is now offering the LG Spectrum 2 for $99.99 after a $50 mail-in-rebate and the signing of a two-year voice plus data plan.

The LG spectrum also offers super fast mobile connectivity via 4G LTE speeds.

Also featured on the one hundred dollar smartphone is an impressive 8-megapixel camera with built-in editing features for cropping, rotating and adding effects. Video conference calls and self photo taking can also be implemented thanks to the devices 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera.

The LG Spectrum is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Krait 1.5 GHz dual-core processor which is pushed along by the Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS.

Throw in 16GB on-board storage and 32GB via microSD memory card and you have a high-end device with a low-end price point.

LG is also pushing its QuickMemo ™ service which allows customers to capture screenshots and add their own personalized commentary or drawings with a finger

The $50 rebate for the Spectrum 2 will be given to customers in the form of a debit card.
