Eminem’s Daughter Hailie Scott Named Homecoming Queen

Eminem’s daughter Hailie Scott is a homecoming queen.

The Macomb Daily reports that Hailie, who is now 17-years-old, was voted the homecoming queen at Chippew Valley High School on Friday. Eminem was at the school to watch his little girl accept her crown.

The local paper reports that Eminem kept a low-profile at the event and didn’t join his daughter on stage.

A parent said: “Hailie came out with her mother Kim [Scott] when she was introduced with all the other kids but her father watched from inside the school because he didn’t want to cause a scene—he wanted Hailie to have her own moment.”

Another parent said: “He opened the door and looked out like ‘That’s my daughter!’ He just looked like a proud father.”

Eminem has done his best to keep his daughter out of the spotlight but music fans practically grew up with Hailie. Eminem frequently sings about his daughter, his marital problems, and other family issues on his records.

In Hailie’s Song, Eminem sings: “My baby girl, keeps getting older / I watch her grow up with pride / People make jokes, cause they don’t understand me / They just don’t see my real side /I act like shit don’t phase me, inside it drives me crazy! / My insecurities could eat me alive / But then I see my baby, suddenly I’m not crazy! / It all makes sense when I look into her eyes.”

Eminem’s daughter was a hot topic on Twitter over the weekend after a screenshot showing Hailie and her homecoming crown was posted to the internet.
