Emmy Awards 2013: Dean Norris Challenged Derek Hough To Dance Off At After Party

After Breaking Bad’s tremendous victory at the 2013 Emmy Awards, Dean Norris, who played Hank Schrader in the beloved show, partied like his life depended on it, and even partook in a dance off with Dancing With The Stars’ Derek Hough.

Hough himself had been a big winner that night, having picked up a gong for his choreography skills, but that dampen Norris’ confidence as the 50-year-old thespian took on the twinkle toed 28-year-old dancer.

It’s been reported that the duo managed to clear a circle and then dance to various songs by the likes of Stealer Wheel, Jackson Five, Queen, and Jamiroquai.

An insider told US Weekly, “Derek was twirling around while Dean did snake moves as they went back and forth to Stealer Wheel’s hit, “Stuck in the Middle With You.”

The source then added, “Guests circled the dance floor and sung along while cheering and Derek and Dean began taking guests hands and bringing them closer to join in. They were having a blast. Everyone was cheering and clapping along to the beat.”

It’s believed that they had a quick break, before reconvening for another dance-off, which saw them boogey down to Jackson Five’s, “ABC,” and Queen’s, “We Are The Champions.”

Norris then took to his Twitter feed to upload a series of images and vines of his work on the dance floor:

Breaking Bad won the Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series on Sunday evening, while Anna Gunn picked up the Best Supporting Actress in a Drama gong.
