Mick Jagger is going to be a great grandfather!
The Rolling Stone frontman’s granddaughter Assisi is expecting her first child with her boyfriend Alex. Asisi is the 21-year-old daughter of Mick’s daughter Jade.
A source told the Mirror that both Jade and Mick Jagger were happy, but a little surprised, with the news.
The source said: “Jade was a little taken aback at first, not least because it means she will be a grandmother by the age of 42… Mick is delighted and has no qualms about being a great grandfather.”
Jagger and the Rolling Stones are still selling out stadiums despite the fact that the band is well into their 70s. But don’t expect the Rolling Stones to slow down now that Mick is getting ready to become a great-grandfather.
According to the source, Mick has been joking around that he’ll be a great-great-grandfather before he retires.
The source said: “He’s been joking about becoming a great, great, grandad and still performing.”
Helllo! Magazine reports that Mick has 7 children between the ages of 14 and 42 with four different women. His oldest child was born in 1970 with actress Marsha Hunt. Jade, Assisi’s mother, is Mick’s child from his first wife Bianca.
The Rolling Stone singer had four children during his nine year marriage with Jerry Hall. His youngest child, 14, he had with model Luciana Gimenez.
Mick currently has four grandchildren and will soon have a great great grandchild.
