If you can still imagine Britney Spears in her hey day, then you might still remember that Spears was in a longterm relationship with Nsync frontman Justin Timberlake. Back then the two were possibly more famous and beloved than Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez. Not only were they loved by their fans, they also wore matching denim outfits at award shows at one point, and were still considered cool the next day.
Since their 2002 breakup, Britney Spears has been relatively quiet about her former flame. Although Timberlake went on to pen revealing songs about Spears like “Cry Me A River” and “What Goes Around (Comes Around), Spears seems to still have fond memories about their time together.
When Sam Champion went off the cuff for Spears’ Good Morning America interview, he asked who Britney’s first kiss was. Much to her team’s chagrin, Spears relented and revealed that her first kiss, was in fact, Justin Timberlake.
When first asked about her first kiss , Spears appeared somewhat embarrassed, before she replied: “Oh, my god. Maybe 13?”
When Sam Champion asked who that first kiss was, she answered sheepishly, “It was Justin.”
At the time it was a hard break up for Britney, but her hardest breakup seems to be with her now ex fiancé Jason Trawick. Spears told Champion about the difficult time, “Breakups suck, man! They do.”As some of you may know Britney Spears and Timberlake first met on the Mickey Mouse Club. The two were just starting their teen years and were said to be a pretty close item even before they made their relationship official in 2000.
Her untitled eighth studio album drops on December 3. Spears expressed that the upcoming album pulls from her heartache, having said:
“During this album, I had a breakup with Jason that I went through that I wrote a lot about.”
