The new Drake album has leaked online.
The singer’s highly anticipated album, “Nothing Was The Same,” was scheduled for release on September 24. But Drake fans won’t have to wait until next week to hear the album because the tracks leaked online today.
The leak comes just a day after Britney Spears’ new song, “Work Bitch,” was posted to the internet before it’s release. Britney decided to put the official version out early in order to stop fans from listening to the bootleg version.
Drake has not announced any plans to release the album early. At the moment, it doesn’t look like the singer plans to change his release date.
Regardless of when the new Drake album officially hits store shelves, it’s bound to be a hit. The album is already winning rave reviews on Twitter with some calling it the singer’s best album to date.
Drake said earlier this month: “This album is not some straight rap album. I’ll never do a straight rap album.”
Billboard reports that the album features Sampha, 2 Chainz and Big Sean. But the most hyped up song from the record is “Pound Cake” thanks to some guest vocals from Jay-Z.
