Most of the Duck Dynasty clan headed down to at New York Fashion Week to watch Sadie Robertson show off her new prom dress fashion line.
But before Sadie walked down the runway, she walked down the red carpet with her father and inspiration Willie Robertson.
Now, I know what you’re thinking: How does Willie Robertson inspire a line of prom dresses? Does he look good in lady’s formal wear?
If you remember the “Duck Be A Lady” episode of Duck Dynasty in season three, you’ll remember that Sadie and her father had a hard time agreeing on a prom dress.
Willie insisted on modesty and told his daughter that “we need full coverage.”
Willie said: “That’s kind of the trouble with my teenage girls is making sure everything’s covered up.”
Sadie had a hard time finding a dress that met Willie’s requirements, so she decided to launch her own “Daddy Approved” line of prom dresses.
Sadie Robertson teamed up with Sherri Hill to create the new line and last night she made her New York Fashion Week debut as a model. The Gospel Herald reports that Sadie slipped into two prom dresses during her show last night.
Starcasm reports that the first dress was a “satiny beige dress with a sweetheart neckline” that cut just above the knee and the second dress was a “Dalmation-dotted full-length white skirt” with a sheer black sleevless top. (You can see both dresses in the video below.)
