Emma Watson Joins Adaptation Of ‘Your Voice In My Head’

British actress Emma Watson (Harry Potter Series, The Perks Of Being A Wallflower) will be joining the adaptation Your Voice In My Head, directed by Francesca Gregorini (The Truth About Emanuel).

The film will be produced by Alison Owen (Saving Mr. Banks) and Michael Benaroya (Lawless) and will begin production on November 4 in New York.

The Hollywood Reporter says that Watson was attached to the project back in the days when Warner Bros. was going to produce it, but she left after director David Yates exited in 2012.

Emily Blunt was also attached to Your Voice In My Head, but Emma Watson left shortly after Yates.

Now the film is being produced independently and Watson is once again attached to it. Director Francesca Gregorini is now set to helm the movie. She is the daughter of actress Barbara Bach, of James Bond fame.

Sales for the Emma Watson film are being led by Benaroya Pictures’ new division, International Film Trust at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Your Voice In My Head is the story of a woman living in the fast lane in New York, when she attempts suicide and is saved by a psychiatrist who is suffering from terminal cancer.

Emma Forrest wrote the script for Gregorini’s, who co-wrote The Truth About Emanuel, starring Jessica Biehl. Another one of her films Tanner Hall, was shown at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2009.

Emma Watson is one of Britain’s darlings, part of the Harry Potter main cast in her role as Hermione Granger, and we have seen her grow in the public eye.

But the self assured and very grounded Watson is very much her own person and as she establishes herself as an adult actress, she still is showing her own sense of style.

Emma Watson graces the cover of British GQ’s October issue and was awarded a best dressed award by the fashion magazine.
