Director Zack Snyder Looking For Love Interest For Batman, Report
Now that the dust is (kind of) settled when it comes to the casting of Ben Affleck as Batman, Zack Snyder is quickly moving along to complete the rest of the roles for the Superman vs Batman film.
Even though this is a Man Of Steel sequel, Batman is expected to be a main character and director Zack Snyder is looking for the dark knight’s lady love.
Latino Review is reporting they got a hold of the specifications of what the studio has sent out to talent agencies.
Snyder and company are looking for someone in their late 20s and are open to all ethnicities for our black caped hero.
Bruce Wayne, as you all may remember is a bit of a playboy, so he likes his women, young.
Another attribute they are looking for is height along with physicality, so the lady in question must be able to kick some ass.
There is speculation that Zack Snyder could be bringing in Wonder Woman for his Batman movie, but that could be wishful thinking. Would they pair her with Bruce/Batman?
The height comes from the fact that Ben Affleck stands at 6’4″, so it wouldn’t do to cast a pretty 20-something that is not tall. They need the height, so that makes sense.
Latino Review names Charlize Theron (5’10”) and Adrianne Palicki (5’11?). I will add Gina Carano, who stands at 5’8″, which is not short by any means, but more interestingly, can kick butt, as she proved in Fast And Furious 6.
Without knowing exactly who the character is, it’s hard to tell. Vicky Vale is the classic love interest for Batman, but Katie Holmes played Rachel Dawes in Batman Returns.
A concept art piece which has been making the rounds online, was also shared by Latino Review, and it has two crucial pieces of information. No nipples for Zack Snyder’s Batman and the texture of the suit should be different than that of Superman.
