Google Employees Losing Their Jobs For Leaking Info


The loose lipped culture at Google is coming to an end, a recent report has discovered that Google execs are now firing two people on month per average. While the exact leaks that have led to firings are not known, recent leaks for Google +1 and various Google Android news are probably good bets.

In the past Google had encourage employees to share ideas and remain open in the marketplace, right down to their open-source mobile operating system and various other open projects. However, with various competition in almost every facet of their business from Apple, Facebook and various other tech firms, it appears those days are behind the company.

On the other side of the company, many divisions in Google are now operating independently of executive oversight, so while openness is being pushed to the back burner in terms of public leaks, the ability to innovate without cutting through bureaucratic red tape should please developers and designers as they build the next big Google platforms.

While Google hasn’t revealed which divisions are being given oversight freedom, their less essential and growing product lines are probably a safe bet.
