Pippa Middleton Getting Married In The Spring, Kate Could Be Bridesmaid

Pippa Middleton is planning to marry her stockbroker boyfriend in a few months, and her royal sister Kate may be in the wedding party.

Friends said the socialite sister of Kate Middleton got engaged to boyfriend Nico Jackson and plans to get married in the spring. The 29-year-old Pippa and 35-year-old Jackson have only been together for six months, but apparently are ready to walk down the aisle. The couple reportedly got engaged before the Wimbledon tennis tournament.

Though the relationship has been short so far, friends of Pippa Middleton say “she couldn’t be more sure that Nico is the right man for her.”

A source said the wedding party hasn’t been determined yet, but there’s a strong possibility that Kate Middleton will end up as a bridesmaid.

“Everyone knows how close the sisters are but at this stage the final arrangements are a long way off,” a source said. ‘Pippa’s wedding will be a huge occasion but if Kate is bridesmaid it will be even more high-profile.”

Though famously close, Kate and Pippa actually clashed a bit in recent months. As Kate was winding down toward the birth of Prince George, she and members of the royal family reportedly asked Pippa to scale back on her public appearances.

Royal family members, still stinging from the negative attention of topless pictures of Kate Middleton and stories of Prince Harry’s Las Vegas antics, reportedly grew wary of the publicity Pippa was bringing and asked her to keep a lower profile.

“Kate and William didn’t want her to write her party planning book Celebrate, let alone a regular column in various magazines,” a source told the Daily Mail. “They have spoken to her about this.”

Sources say Pippa Middleton will likely make an official announcement about her engagement sometime before her 30th birthday on Friday.
