Hayden Panettiere Bangs: Actress Debuts New Look On Twitter [Photos]

Hayden Panettiere has a bangin’ new hairdo.

The Nashville star debuted a brand-new bangs hairdo on Twitter just ahead of her Wednesday night appearance on Late Show With Dave Letterman.

The 24-year-old wore her platinum-dyed bangs with a patterned red and blue mini dress, all topped off by red lipstick.

“My friend said to go look at myself in the mirror … guess ill hafta trust her opinion…,” she tweeted before the show Wednesday, along with a sneak peek of her bangs in the mirror.

Hayden Panettiere’s bangs join a litany of others out in Hollywood right now. The growing trend (arguably kicked off this year by Michelle Obama, who has since shorn her trendy bangs) is observed by Zooey Deschanel, Kim Kardashian, Kerry Washington, Taylor Swift, Emma Stone and Lea Michele.

Quick side note for you gossip hounds: During the interview, Panettiere did not confirm whether or not she’s engaged to boxer boyfriend, Wladimir Klitschko, 37. Letterman pressed with questions about how they met, but she didn’t make any sort of engagement announcement before, during or after the interview.
