Kelly Clarkson On Her Wedding To Brandon Blackstock: ‘I’m So Over It’

Kelly Clarkson says she “is so over it” about her October wedding to fiance Brandon Blackstock. What?

Well, it’s not what you think. She is actually a little overwhelmed with all the wedding preparations and would like to just skip the whole thing and say “I do” to her beau.

The 31-year-old country singer explained she is having a difficult time planning for her wedding.

While calling in on the Ryan Seacrest radio show, On Air With Ryan Seacrest, she told him that she is going crazy with too much on her plate. She is touring, getting a Christmas album ready, and more importantly getting ready to get married.

“It’s two months away. It’s end of October. I’m so over it,” she shared. “It’s so overwhelming. We’re just doing a lot: touring and the wedding and the Christmas album, so I’m over the wedding part.”

Kelly Clarkson got engaged to Brandon Blackstock in December of last year. He is the son of her long time manager and the step-son of Reba McEntire.

Brandon has two children from a previous marriage and Kelly has that added responsibility to add to her list of demands.

“I have a 12-year-old and a 6-year-old now… after being single for six years!” Clarkson told Seacrest.

Kelly says the kids live with them and it’s “awesome”. She adds that Blackstock’s two kids are great and she really likes being a mom, even if it’s a step-mom, for now at least.

“They’re awesome and I actually really dig the mom thing… I am quick to go, ‘I told you not to touch that!’… I am totally my mom. My mom was a hard mom.”

A source tells Us Weekly that even though Clarkson and Blackstock feel like their married already, they want to have a ceremony and celebrate in an intimate affair with close friends and family.

The source says that Kelly Clarkson is planning a fun wedding and is the one in charge of all the details.
