Kim Kardashian opted not to send a thank you note to Katie Couric after receiving a baby gift, instead tearing into the anchor on social media.

Katie Couric sent Kim Kardashian a present after baby North West was born, and it appears to be a pajama set from the swanky department store Barney’s New York.

But Kim wasn’t impressed or grateful — instead ripping into the newswoman for what looks like possible two-facedness.

Katie Couric’s gift was definitely not appreciated by Kardashian, who referred to something not specific that Couric may have said recently.

In a tweet that was appended with two angry hashtags, Kim raged “#IHateFakeMediaFriends #MayIHumblySuggestYouNotSendGiftsThenTalkSh*t,” before linking to an Instagram pic.

More than 160,000 Instagram users “liked” the image, which just shows the card Couric sent and has the same irritated hashtags.

It’s not precisely clear if the card itself is cut off, but it only visibly reads:

“Dear Kim and Kanye, Congratulations on the birth of your baby girl! As the [moth] And may I humbly suggest you continue the K tradition for no […] Fondly, Katie Couric.”

It’s speculated that Kim Kardashian’s Katie Couric grudge stems back from recent comments the latter made about the famous for being famous fam — Katie ragged on her recently to InStyle:

“I don’t understand – why are they so famous? I think it’s mostly teenage girls that are interested.”

Twitter users blame Kim’s outburst on the influence of baby daddy Kanye West — who isn’t known for being shy when he feels dissed.

Kim Kardashian hasn’t tweeted again to elaborate on the Katie Couric beef, but the tweet is certainly making the rounds.
