Dave Grohl Revealed As Member Of Secretive, Masked Rock Band Ghost

Dave Grohl has been outed as a member of Ghost, a mysterious hard rock band that’s made a name for itself for energetic performances and elaborate costumes.

The band has been around since 2008, performing hard rock songs while in full custom as demonic priests. The band members have referred the themselves as Nameless Ghouls, but one of the members recently said they are getting too popular to remain hidden.

“I think we’ve been able to sustain our thing so far because there hasn’t been that kind of level of interest in the band,” one of the Nameless Ghouls of Ghost recently said. “That will change. It’s something of a paradox. To go further as a band doesn’t run parallel with being anonymous.”

It didn’t take long for one of the identities to come out. This week, one of the band members revealed that Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl has performed with the band.

Jack Osbourne, working with Fuse, asked the member if rumors were true that Grohl has performed with Ghost.

“As a matter of fact he has,” the Nameless Ghoul said. “I can’t really… but underneath that cloak it was Dave Grohl.”

Though the band includes a member dressed like a Roman Catholic priest, the Ghoul said they haven’t encountered much controversy because of it.

“On a few occasions there have been very minor displays of resistance,” said the Ghoul. “But I think a lot of Christian societies nowadays know better than to shout: ‘This band is dangerous,’ because they know that will gather more people to be interested.”

The Nameless Ghoul did not reveal if Dave Grohl was a regular member of Ghost or just a collaborator, and didn’t say what instrument he was playing (Grohl was a drummer for Nirvana and has played pretty much every instrument for the Foo Fighters).
