Lisa Vanderpump Sued Over Bar Feud

Lisa Vanderpump is being sued over her plan to open a new bar in West Hollywood, California.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and her husband Ken Todd are being sued by the LuLu Restaurant Group. The group file dthe lawsuit on Wednesday and are hoping to stop the couple from opening the new bar.

The lawsuit alleges fraud, unfair competition, deceit and breach of contract.

The lawsuit claims that Ryan Carrillo and Andrew Gruver of the LuLu Group were planning to open a gay bar called Bar Varsity at a former Java Detour coffee house. Carrillo and Gruver claim that they had an agreement with businessman Elie Samaha to open the new bar but the deal fell through when Samaha failed to provide $500,000.

Gruver and Carrillo say that Lisa Vanderpump and her husband had a lease on the property and had been planning to open their own bar, The P.U.M.P. Lounge at the same location.

The couple told the Daily Mail: ‘We had no prior knowledge of Ryan Carrillo and Andrew Gruver or their claim… We took the lease in good faith seven months ago and all of our applications and notices have been posted publicly. Any issue will be between them and the property owner.”

The LuLu Restaurant Group is seeking $4 million in damages. They are also asking the court to block the new P.U.M.P. Lounge.
