Gisele Bundchen has officially reported to New England Patriots training camp, and she brought a rookie along with her.
The supermodel wife of quarterback Tom Brady paid a visit to the team’s practice on Tuesday, and brought along the couple’s young son, Benjamin. Once the practice ended Brady walked to toward the tent dedicated to players’ families, giving his wife a kiss and hugging his son.
Gisele Bundchen made it just in time. The Patriots, who are running joint practices with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, have only two more sessions left in training camp. On Wednesday the team suited up for a workout in full pads, with a lighter session planned for Thursday.
Tom Brady had a less than stellar day with his wife in attendance. He completed 13 of his 21 passes in 11-on-11 drills against the Bucs, the worst he’s played in the team’s three joint practices. For comparison, Brady hit 37 of his 47 passes last week against the Eagles.
Gisele Bundchen has been a big supporter of Tom in the past. After Super Bowl XLVI, where the Patriots fell to the New York Giants, a jovial Giants fan tried to taunt Gisele as she was leaving the stadium, saying “Eli Manning owns your husband.”
Though she didn’t respond directly to the fan, Gisele made a remark as she got in the elevator to leave that Tom can’t throw and catch the ball (earlier in the game, wide receiver Wes Welker dropped a pass that could have put the game away for the Pats).

But spirits were much higher on Tuesday when Gisele Bundchen and Benjamin paid a visit to Tom Brady. The couple was seen walking off the field together after the practice, with Tom holding his young son.
