Jennifer Aniston’s pregnancy rumors are a seeming constant of celebrity news — it seems with each new beau or clothing choice, the star is said to be expecting a stork visit but keeping the news under wraps.
It’s been years since Jennifer Aniston split up with Brad Pitt, and since the high-profile breakup, the Friends actress has been forced to contend with constant speculation as to when and if she will marry again or become a mom.
In the past, Aniston has addressed pregnancy questions with an assertion she would at one point have kids, but at 44, she and newest partner Justin Theroux have yet to spawn — or wed.
Jennifer did an Aussie radio show interview recently, and admitted that after all these years in the marriage/baby hot seat, she’s understandably tired of being asked the same questions ad nauseum.
Aniston says that not only does it place pressure on her personal relationships — it also robs the chance she may have in the future to allow such happenstances to occur naturally and be announced at her leisure.
She explained :
“It does feel a bit like they’ve exhausted the question, and also the speculations. It’s all been pretty much exhausted… Why not just wait until we actually get to have the fun of announcing something, who wants to play the guessing game, whether it be (a) family wedding, this, that, the other thing.”
Aniston said the rumor mill kicked up again this weekend when she planned and threw a birthday bash for Theroux, explaining that as soon as word of the fete got out, a “secret wedding” buzz began.
Jennifer Aniston also admitted she’d heard the rumors about a “ baby bump ” sighting during a recent event — telling the hosts “there’s nothing to be announced,” and saying that any appearance to the contrary was simply “just a couple of pounds.”
