Do you need proof that Katy Perry isn’t dating Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson? According to the singer, she isn’t afraid to fart in front of him.
Breaking wind is apparently a serious no-no in her relationships. Since Perry isn’t afraid to pass gas in the actor’s presence, this means she isn’t intimately involved with Pattinson.
Katy Perry revealed a little too much information about her personal life during an interview with Elle UK. Say what you will about the singer, but she’s definitely not afraid to put herself out there.
“Okay, so here’s the proof there was never anything going on with me and Robert Pattinson. I fart in front of him. Properly fart. And I never, ever fart in front of a man I am dating. That’s a rule,” Perry explained to the publication .
When it comes to her relationship with the actor, the singer insists that the two are just friends. If she can openly fart in front of the guy, then it must be true.
“He’s my bud, I’m like his big sister. We just hang out. The other day, I said: ‘One of the things I’m most proud of is not sleeping with you, Robert.’ And that’s true,” she added.
The Inquisitr previously reported that Katy Perry reached out to Kristen Stewart shortly after the singer began hanging out with Robert Pattinson. She wanted to squash rumors that the two were in a budding relationship.
“I sent [Kristen] a text message saying: ‘I know you’ve seen all this stuff but you know I would never disrespect you. I’m not that person. I’m just trying to be a friend to him but it is unfortunate that I do have a set of t**s,’” the singer explained.
When Perry isn’t busy breaking wind and telling people about it, she’s hoping to land a role in the upcoming Blade Runner sequel. Word of advice: Don’t fart in front of Ridley Scott.
“With films, I hope to win you all over with animation and then do other films. I am really interested in comedy, and I would really love to play Rachael in Blade Runner 2, if [director] Ridley [Scott] would just call,” she recently told the folks at Metro .
