Lindsey Vonn fears Tiger Woods may not have it all out of his system.
The pro golfer had an infamous breakup with former wife Elin Nordegren, one in which the world learned he had been keeping a stable of mistresses. But it appeared he was back on the straight and narrow since he started dating Vonn.
Now sources close to Lindsey Vonn say she’s increasingly scared that Tiger Woods will actually return to his former flame , Nordegren, when the couple travels together to Sweden with their children this summer.
The source added that Vonn fears if Tiger hooks up with his ex-wife, he may want to go back to her and dump Vonn.
“Lindsey is convinced that Tiger still has feelings for Elin and, if he got the chance, he would dump Lindsey in a flash and get back together with her,” a source told the National Enquirer.
This seems to conflict with reports from earlier this month that Elin Nordegren was angry at Tiger Woods for sharing custody of their kids and for dating Vonn.
In fact, other reports showed that Vonn and Nordegren had actually grown closer, as Vonn was invited in on some family outings with Elin and Tiger and their two children.
Earlier this month, sources had told Page Six that Elin Nordegren approved of the relationship, saying she “really likes Lindsey and thinks she is a very good influence on Tiger.” That’s more than just an endorsement — Vonn has to give explicit permission for Tiger to bring any new women around the couple’s children.
Even though the relationship seems to be going well now, it seems Lindsey Vonn has reason to fear Tiger Woods would cheat again. After all, he and Nordegren once enjoyed a strong relationship as well, but that didn’t stop him from seeking the company of close to a dozen other women.
