‘LEGO Marvel Super Heroes’ Lands SDCC 2013 Trailer [Video]

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes has landed an SDCC 2013 trailer!

The last time we had a trailer for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, it had come from E3 2013, and showed us a bit more than just a collection of characters in the game, as previously reported by The Inquisitr.

The SDCC 2013 trailer for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes begins with Hulk making his way down a deserted road lined with tall buildings. He stops to roar before we get a scene of the Kingpin holding his cane in what looks like a high-tech lab, and then aiming it like a gun.

Then we see Rhino and The Blob apparently getting ready for something, and Colossus stretching a bit as he does an arm windup.

The Thing appears to be getting ready as well, and then smashes his fists together as the screen says, “The bigger they are,” on a foundation appearing to be cracked.

Then the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes SDCC 2013 trailer shows us the Hulk punching a tank or something, The Thing picking up a robot of some kind, and Jean Grey coming forward with Storm. The Lizard attacks Jean Grey with a large rock in the flaming wreckage of what appears to be a warehouse.

Colossus then smashes something before we see Juggernaut tossing something purple.

The trailer continues to say “The harder they battle,” among clips of Hulk re-enacting that famous Loki scene from The Avengers, Colossus running, jumping and body slamming something, and Rhino horn-tossing someone and kicking them across the room as they land.

The Thing clobbers someone right in the head before two helicopters arrive over a military facility. Silliness ensues when what looks like The Thing hands Hulk a teddy bear and the green monster pats it on the head before getting swatted with the other fist. Juggernaut and Wolverine clash before Hulk and what appears to be War Machine get ready to fight. Hulk smashes the ground and the titles drop in.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes seems to be keeping the feel of the Marvel universe intact and adding the classic LEGO humor into the mix.

What do you think of the SDCC 2013 trailer? Are you excited to play LEGO Marvel Super Heroes?
