Jesse And The Rippers Reunite On ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’ [Video]

Jesse and The Rippers reunited for the first time in 20 years, and all we have to say is, “Have Mercy!”

The fictional “Full House” band reunited on Friday on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” and did they bring it.

The Huffington Post reported that John Stamos, who played Jesse Katsopolis on “Full House,” truly got in the spirit of the Jesse and The Rippers reunion, donning his signature mullet and black leather vest.

The report continued on to say that group sang a medley of “Forever” by the Beach Boys, Elvis’ “Little Sister,” Chan Romero’s “Hippy Hippy Shake” (which the band last performed at Walt Disney World on an episode of “Full House”) and last, but certainly not least, the “Full House” theme song.

US Magazine stated that Fallon introduced the group as “a great band out of San Francisco.”

“Adding to the ’90s nostalgia, Bob Saget, who played “Full House” patriarch Danny Tanner, danced along in the audience and Lori Loughlin, who played Uncle Jesse’s wife Becky, joined Stamos on stage after the performance for a kiss,” according to HNGN.

The Inquisitr previously reported that “Uncle Jesse” has been hinting at a potential reunion for weeks on Twitter.

The report also stated that Jimmy Fallon kind of has a thing for bringing back ’80s and ’90s TV show casts. In 2009, he lobbied for a Saved by the Bell reunion, which resulted in Mark-Paul Gosselaar appearing on the show in-character as Zack Morris.

On Friday, Jesse and The Rippers came out in full force and gave quite the performance.

Along with Stemos donning his mullet and vest, the stage they performed on was set up to replicate the club that Uncle Jesse grew up in and eventually owned, “The Smash Club.”
