Liam Gallagher Being Sued By New York Times Journalist After Allegedly Fathering Her Love Child

Liam Gallagher is allegedly being sued by a New York Times journalist for $3million after she has claimed that he fathered her child.

The New York Post has identified Liza Ghorbani as the journalist who is filing the suit against the former Oasis frontman. Ghorbani has written for Rolling Stone, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal.

Ghorbani’s child is believed to be just under a year old, which would mean that their affair began around the period that she scribed an article for The Times’ A Night Out With column, which saw her visit a series of bars in New York City with the singer.

He is quoted as telling the journalist in their interview, “Not a lot of people look cool these days, like my cool… Everybody plays it down, don’t they?”

The 39-year-old has claimed that she partook in a one night stand with Mr Gallagher around 18 months ago, and then gave birth to their child less than a year ago.

To prove that the child is his, Liza Ghorbani is suing Mr Gallagher for $3million at the Manhattan Family Court, and the case is listed as, Anonymous vs Anonymous.

The 40-year-old has been married to Nicole Appleton, the former lead singer with All Saints, since 2008 and they have three children together. Previously he had been married to the actress Patsy Kensit.

A spokesman for Liam Gallagher has responded to these allegations by stating, “Lawyers are taking action against the New York Post. We are not going to comment on gossip.” The New York Post has also alleged that Mr Gallagher was attempting to prevent his wife and family from finding out about the daughter he has secretly fathered.

Do you think Liam Gallagher has fathered an illegitimate child with the New York Times journalist?
