A new rumor has expectant actress Halle Berry finally tying the knot with her fiancé Olivier Martinez this weekend.
E! News reports that Berry will finally be settling down with her partner of three years this coming weekend. This is all still just a rumor, and no details on venue were available. However, the couple were snapped leaving Los Angeles International Airport on Wednesday along with Berry’s daughter, Nahla.
This will be Berry’s third marriage. The 46-year-old was married to MLB player David Justice in the mid-90s, and to R&B musician Eric Benét from 2001 to 2005.
She then had a contentious relationship with Canadian model Gabriel Aubry, the father of her daughter, until 2010. Berry is currently pregnant with her second child, a boy, with Martinez.
Berry and Martinez got together shortly after filming Dark Tide together (if you never heard of the film, you’re not alone). In 2012, news broke that the two had gotten engaged during the holidays, and in 2013, Berry was revealed to be pregnant . She called the happy news “the biggest surprise of my life.”
“Thought I was kind of past the point where this could be a reality for me. So it’s been a big surprise and the most wonderful,” she said.
A bigger surprise to folks like us who follow celebrity gossip obsessively is that Berry is even getting married again. She once told Oprah Winfrey that she’d never marry again after Benét.
I guess when a guy wallops a gal’s ex in the midst of a highly-contentious custody battle, that rings commitment.
In any case, we won’t know if the rumors are true until the weekend has come and gone or we hear something concrete from one of the couple’s reps. If it’s true, congrats to the happy couple! If not, we still like them anyway.
