Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is denying claims that he beat up his new baby mama while ransacking her Los Angeles condo.

Authorities in L.A. claim that 50 Cent was engaged in a loud argument, which turned into out outright assault last week.

In a statement on Thursday, Jackson’s lawyer Scott Leemon said, “Curtis Jackson denies these allegations as made against him. It is important to note, Mr. Jackson has not been arrested and there is no warrant outstanding for his arrest.”

The Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office has filed five criminal charges against 50 Cent.

In response to the criminal charges, Leemon said, “(We) are currently conducting our own investigation into these allegations.”

In their official filing, prosecutors claim that 50 Cent threw a fit on June 23, which led to the destruction of $7,000 in personal property. According to prosecutors, that damage included the destruction of a television and chandeliers. 50 Cent was acting in a dangerous manner, which led his girlfriend to lock herself in a bedroom. According to the report, 50 Cent busted into the room and then kicked his baby mama, causing injury.

According to the report, police observed smashed chandeliers, broken furniture, and a ransacked bedroom, among various other broken items.

In a statement regarding the case, City Attorney Mike Feuer revealed:

“Regardless of perceived celebrity or notoriety, domestic violence is a serious crime, and alleged perpetrators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law by this office.”

50 Cents’ alleged meltdown has left him charged with one count of domestic violence and four counts of vandalism.

A conviction could put 50 Cent behind bars for up to five years with fines up to $46,000.

Curtis Jackson will be arraigned on July 22.

You may recall that in 2008 the rappers ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins claimed that he started a fire that destroyed her Long Island home. 50 Cent was cleared of any wrongdoing in the Tompkins fire.

This recent case definitely doesn’t sound like the work of a guy who was willing to pay out of pocket for the funeral of a slain Queen’s teenager .

Prosecutors have not revealed the name of 50 Cents’ baby mama.
