‘The Hobbit’: Elves Watching Fans Watching Elves – Adorable [VIDEO]

Peter Jackson (PJ) is loved by his fans for this precise reason. Yesterday, the hugely anticipated first trailer for the second installment of his trilogy, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, was posted online to the delight of millions of followers.

Now, there is a newer video that is making the rounds thanks to PJ. In it we see two women expectantly waiting for the arrival of the new trailer, which was announced with time and date previously.

The women are in a bedroom with their laptop at the ready and pacing excitedly before the official clips hits the airwaves. And then when it finally makes its appearance they can’t contain their excitement. It’s really cute actually.

Well, apparently PJ had some down time or was looking for fan reaction on Youtube, because he has posted the video on his Facebook page, calling it “pretty cute”.

But the story doesn’t end there. The video was also shown to some cast members, who are on location in New Zealand finishing production. A second video was posted by Jackson showing some of the elves in The Hobbit watching the fan video.

In it we see, Orlando Bloom (Legolas), Evangeline Lilly (Tauriel) and Lee Pace (Thranduil) watching the fan video. That is also very cute. Evangeline Lilly and Orlando Bloom look really excited and are seen laughing at the fans’ reactions to seeing the different scenes in the trailer.

It is truly priceless that Jackson can take the time to show this to the fans. He is a beloved figure to his followers because he is known to share much footage in behind the scenes video blogs.

One of these blogs should be coming soon actually hopefully, but this one will definitely make these two young women’s day and it is something they will always remember. We can plainly see that Jackson has the public’s interest as a top priority.

Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug opens in the US on December 13.
