Terminator 2 star Edward Furlong was thrown back in jail Monday.
The 35-year-old was arrested last month for allegedly violating a restraining order obtained by his ex-girlfriend, Monica Keena. Furlong was found hiding underneath a nearby stairwell after Keena called police and alerted them that the actor was on her property.
He was released from police custody after posting $50,000 bail.
However, a judge decided Monday that the previous bail amount wasn’t enough and raised it to $100,000. Furlong was remanded to the jail where he will remain until he posts the rest of his bail.
Furlong’s next court hearing is scheduled for later this month.
Furlong’s most recent arrest came just two months after the actor was sentenced to six months in jail for violating a protective order obtained by his estranged wife, Rachael Bella.
As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Furlong has been in and out jail on domestic violence and battery charges. He was arrested at least three times this year alone.
At the time of his March arrest, Furlong was filming a new movie called Other Plans. However, he was fired from the film because of his legal troubles.
“Edward’s criminal legal issues over the past four months have directly caused our production damages to its schedule and budget,” the film’s producers wrote in a statement. “Given Edward’s current status as being in jail awaiting arraignment on two charges of criminal domestic violence, and a probation violation hearing on 2/15/13, we are no longer able to engages his services for the film as per our agreement.”
The American History X star has actually been quite busy between his stints in prison. According to IMDB, Furlong has three films completed for 2013, two in post-production, two in pre-production, and one currently filming. He is also rumored to appear in the crime film, Only One Way Out.
