After last week’s accidental reveal , Gears of War 3 is no big secret, so here’s the first concrete proof of the shooter’s existence: a debut teaser trailer titled “Ashes to Ashes”. It’s gorgeous, not to mention very gray .
This was first shown off on last night’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, with Epic Games lead designer Cliff Bleszinski on hand to build up the hype. Fallon described it as the “the world-premiere trailer for a game that’s going to blow your pants off.”
Meanwhile, Microsoft has confirmed an April 5th 2011 U.S. release date for Gears of War 3 , with the game due in Europe three days later.
