Justin Bieber got a bra thrown at him onstage at a concert this weekend, so the 19-year-old pop singer handled it the best way he knows how — sharing a picture with the world.

The social media savvy singer tweeted a pic of the beige-colored bra onstage while in the background thousands of girls threw up their hands and screamed. Bieber has come a long way since his fans threw stuffed animals and posters his way, and apparently he’s noticed.

“I guess everyone grows up,” Justin Bieber captioned his picture of the bra.

Fans of Bieber might hope he can prolong his youth a bit more. In the past few year the singer has gone from squeaky clean teen idol to Hollywood troublemaker. He’s been cited for speeding, been thrown out of clubs, and gotten into spats with fans seeking photos of him.

This week one of Bieber’s bodyguards reportedly got into a scuffle with someone trying to take a picture. The individual, referred to as a “reported victim,” then called the police, but Justin and his bodyguards were gone by the time they arrived.

While tweeting a picture of a bra may fall into the harmless category, Bieber has heard the increasing criticism of his lifestyle and responded.

“I’m 19 years old. I think I’m doing a pretty good job,” he argued. “Basically from my heart I really just want to say it really should be about the music. It should be about the craft that I’m making. This is not a gimmick, and I’m an artist, and I should be taken seriously.”

Bieber also acknowledged that he’s still a role model to many of his young fans.

“The biggest misconception about me is that I’m a bad person,” he told Us Weekly . “I get upset about that. I have a big heart. I want to be a good role model, but some people want me to fail.”

Even role models can get bras thrown at them, Justin Bieber.
