Tim Duncan is getting divorced. Maybe.
The extremely private NBA player has reportedly filed for divorce from his wife Amy. But before anyone jumps to any conclusions let’s look at the facts.
- The court papers filed in Bexar Country District Court involve a man with the initials T.T.D. This matches up with Duncan’s middle name of “Theodore.”
- The papers included a request that the legal discovery in the case be postponed until after the San Antonio Spurs’ season. Duncan plays for the Spurs.
- The divorce papers state that the couple married in July, 2001, which is when Tim and Amy were married.
- The divorce papers mention two children with the initials S.I.D. and W.D.D. The Duncans have two children named Sydney and Draven. The middle names of the children are not known but the birth dates appear to match up with the children’s ages.
- Richard Orsinger is representing A.S.D. Orsinger represented Tony Parker during his divorce to Eva Longoria.

Tim and Amy started dating in college at Wake Forest. Tim was playing for the basketball team and Amy was a cheerleader.
