World’s Hottest Pie Prank Makes For Great Television [Video]

Karl Stefanovic and Ben Fordham like to pull pranks together on the Australian Today Show. This week, Fordham got the last laugh when he tricked Stefanovic into eating the world’s hottest pie.

The two reporters were supposed to have a world’s hottest pie eating contest using Run Bruns’ Flaming Ron chilli pie but Fordham had his pie switched for a normal meat pie.

Stefanovic, none the wiser, dove into his pie confident that he could conquer the Flaming Ron.

But then thing’s got ugly. And funny.

You can actually pinpoint the exact moment that Stefanovic realizes that he is in over his head. It’s a look of pure terror.

According to Adelaide Now, the prank actually got a little worse for Stefanovic. He had to walk off camera and the crew later found him vomiting in the bathroom.

Stefanovic said: “This is not cool. It’s cramping my style. I’ve got housework to do and eating a meat pic is not going to cut it with my missus as an excuse.”

There’s been a bit of a prank work on Today and Stefanovic will probably find some sort of way to retaliate. But I doubt he’ll be able to top this reaction gif with his next prank.
