Frances Bean Cobain has gone on the offensive with Kendall Jenner on — what else? — Twitter . On Tuesday, the 17-year-old Jenner tweeted that she wished “things could be easier sometimes mann [sic].”
Cobain, exemplifying mother Courtney Love’s in-your-face rep , wasn’t impressed with Jenner’s hard life, blasting her with a series of tweets that basically carried the (sanitized) message of “get over it.”
“@KendallJenner oh shh. There are kids on earth abandoned&homeless who forcibly drink contaminated water because clean water isn’t accessible,” Cobain responded on Wednesday at 9:11 pm.
She followed that four minutes later with: “oh ya, not to mention, CANCER, famine, poverty, draught, disease, natural disasters, Death. F***, Humans are so self involved.”
Hardly done with the rant, Cobain then said she would “rather be a scumbag than a f***ing idiot. Praise high IQ’s, good taste & awareness about the state of the world.”
If Frances Bean Cobain didn’t want a fight out of Jenner, she certainly wasn’t showing it. In closing, she thanked “my parents for providing me with a high IQ & I’d like to thank my grams for encouraging me not to be a self absorbed idiot.”
As of Wednesday, Kendall Jenner was either unaware of Cobain’s remarks or trying to take the high road. As for what it might have been that the young/rich/famous Jenner was so upset about, who knows?
But in defense of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, she may have been lamenting the Oklahoma tornado — may have been — because on the same day, she sent this out: “everyone being affected by the tornado, you are in my prayers.”
We’d like to give Jenner the benefit of the doubt on this one, but it’s anyone’s guess since the initial tweet, linked by HuffPo , has since been deleted.
Cobain has made headlines recently for some sultry pics and her engagement, but if she keeps this up, she could be following in her mom’s footsteps.
