As Britney Pines For Another Baby, Relationship With David Lucado Getting Serious

Britney Spears wants another baby — a girl this time — and with that there are signs that her relationship with boyfriend David Lucado is getting serious.

The 31-year-old singer revealed her desire for another child while speaking to Mario Lopez of Extra. Mario mentioned that he is jealous of Britney because she has two boys, 7-year-old Sean and 6-year-old Jayden. Lopez has a girl with now-pregnant wife Courtney Mazza.

Britney said she wants another baby of her own.

“Awww! I want a girl,” said Spears.

“Oh, you do want a girl! So later on, maybe a little girl?” Lopez asked.

“Yes,” she replied.

The revelations shows that Britney Spears has come a long way since her divorce from husband Kevin Federline and public breakdowns that led many to question her parenting ability. Spears has lived quietly for the past few years, devoting herself to her work and family and staying out of the public spotlight.

Britney’s desire for another baby also reflects her strengthening relationship with boyfriend David Lucado.

Unlike past boyfriends, Lucado isn’t a big player in the entertainment business or even an aspiring star. In fact, he’s just an average guy who worked in an office. E! News notes that he’s just a typical Southern guy, hailing from Virginia and now holding down to jobs in Los Angeles, bartending and working at a legal firm.

Before becoming Britney Spears‘ new boyfriend, David Lucado reportedly had a simple dating life, preferring “pretty, sweet girls” rather than stars themselves, E! News noted.

“Everyone we spoke to said the same thing — David is a well-liked, all-around fun-loving guy … and it’s totally unexpected that he’d date Britney Spears,” an insider close to the couple told TMZ.

Lucado hasn’t spoken much about his relationship with the singer, but, if Britney has plans for another baby, it’s safe to say the two are doing pretty well.
