Khloe Kardashian’s braces are a real head-scratcher. Take a look at that close-up photo of the Kim Kardashian sister’s dazzling smile and ask yourself, “Does that pretty lady really need braces?”
According to an interview with Khloe’s dentist in Radar Online , Dr. Kevin Sands acknowledged that her smile would be beautiful with or without the new custom-made series of Invisalign braces.
“[S]he’s a perfectionist and so am I…We’ll take her from a 9.5 to a 12!” he burbled.
Hey, I like a man who enjoys his work. I always feel like a perfectionist dentist is a dentist looking to buy a new Mercedes, but I don’t have to appear on TV against my celebrity sister on Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
And I sure as heck don’t have to compete with a slimmer, more beautiful sister who got famous by performing in a sex tape and has now ascended to celeb hysteria heaven by carrying Kanye West’s baby. The only good thing about the rivalry is that Kim currently looks pretty interchangeable with an overstuffed sofa .
So it’s not entirely beyond belief that Khloe would seek perfection.
But wait.
Radar Online also said that she thanked Dr. Sands in a tweet to the world, so I went over to Twitter and I found this message:

Doesn’t sound like Khloe admitted to having braces, just that she wants to shout out to Dr. Sands for unspecified great care reflected in what is admittedly a gorgeous smile.
I’m not gonna take sides in this one. I don’t think Kardashian needs braces, but then again I didn’t think Tom Cruise did either — and he got them at age 40.
I have an idea that we’re supposed to be watching Keeping Up With the Kardashians to find out how it all shakes out.
