After the Toronto Maple Leafs lost to the Boston Bruins last night Elisha Cuthbert was caught on camera giving April Reimer a massive stink eye.
Well, that’s not exactly what happened.
A video surfaced showing the two hockey wives (Cuthbert is engaged to Leafs defense man Dion Phaneuf and Reimer is married to Leafs goaltender James Reimer) giving each other two evil looks.
Hockey fans speculated that Cuthbert was staring down Reimer after her husband let the winning goal during overtime.
Well, it turns out that Cuthbert wasn’t upset with April or her husband. The actress was apparently fed up with a fan that was sitting in the area.
April took to Twitter to clear up the confusion saying that a fan was making rude comments after the loss. She even posted a picture of herself with Cuthbert after the game to ensure fans that they were still friends.
So there you have it. There isn’t any bad blood between the hockey wives. Thank goodness that’s been cleared up.
