Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez took the top honors at the 2013 Radio Disney’s Music Awards on Saturday, winning Best Male Artist and Best Female Artist.

The recently reunited couple, who set the Internet on fire with their intimate Instagram reveal on Friday, won the top awards at the fan-voted event after thousands of tweens made their choices online for a month.

The Radio Disney event was held at the Nokia Theater L.A. Live in Los Angeles.

Gomez, who presented and performed her latest single “Come and Get It” on the night, received her award in person while Bieber thanked fans via satellite from Russia where he is performing on his Believe tour.

Before the show kicked off, the Spring Breakers actress wowed waiting fans and press on the red carpet in a monochrome outfit.

The 20-year-old kept it simple in a black Vince top teamed with a black, white and red Blumarine skirt, completing her no-fuss look with Nicholas Kirkwood heels and poker-straight hair.

Thanking fans as she accepted her award, Gomez added:

“If you’re not sick of me yet, I hope to continue to make more music for you.”

Among the other big winners in the 11 categories, British-Irish boy band One Direction came away two wins — Best Music Group and Fiercest Fans — thanks to their army of ‘Directioners.’

Taylor Swift, who was absent from the Radio Disney awards due to touring, also scored a double win with [The Bestest] Song of the Year for “I Knew You Were Trouble” and Best Breakup Song for “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.”

YouTube sensation, Austin Mahone, 17, took home the Ultimate Breakout Star – Biggest Viral Award and was introduced by Swift via satellite. The newcomer also performed during the show.

Another highlight of the event were the Heroes For Change awards, which were given to five kids who have made a difference in their local communities. Other honors went to Denzell Perry, Ben Harowitz, Dara Reyes and Mary Dawson.

Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, recently named as a leader on the Times 100 Most Influential List, received a Special Recognition Award for his charitable work with ‘Pencils of Promise.’

His award was introduced by a line-up of celebrities including Ellen DeGeneres, recent Juno Awards winner Carly Rae Jepsen, Bieber and The Wanted.

Other artists, guests and ‘special appearances’ at the packed event included Brit star Cher Lloyd, Ryan Seacreast, Demi Lovato, Cody Simpson, Denise Richards, Jason Derulo, Coco Jones, Mindless Behavior and Ariana Grande.

The Radio Disney Music Awards will air Saturday, May 4, at the WATCH Disney Channel and website. For the full list of winners visit here:
