Oscar Pistorius Seen Partying, Flirting With Women

Oscar Pistorius is currently on trial for murdering his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp. But that doesn’t mean he’s too sad for a little partying.

The South African Olympian was spotted out with friends this weekend at a trendy restaurant in Johannesburg.

According to the Sunday Times, several witnesses saw Pistorius partying at the restaurant and said that the accused murderer was “relaxed-looking and talkative.”

One witness told the South African newspaper: “He was greeting a couple and then gave the woman a little pat on her backside. It was just so inappropriate … He was drinking shooters and he was flirtatious. He didn’t seem like someone [who had] lost the love of his life.”

Pistorius admitted that he went out with friends on Saturday night but said that the Sunday Times story exaggerated his behavior. Pistorius said that he was not partying this weekend but he did enjoy a nice meal with friends.

His spokeswoman Anneliese Burgess said: “Oscar did go out last Saturday with friends. It was the first time since the tragic and horrific events of February 14 that Oscar went out with friends. He has been out of the house with family, but this was the first time he went out to a restaurant with people other than close family.”

Pistorius, a double amputee, made Olympic history in 2012 when he lined up for the men’s 400 meter sprint. Shortly after his Olympic debut, Pistorius was arrested for murdering his girlfriend.

Pistorius claims that he is innocent. The Olympian says that he thought he was shooting at an intruder and was devastated to find out that he had killed his girlfriend.
