Goose Attacks Gorilla At Kansas Zoo [Video]

What happens when a goose attacks a gorilla? Does the gorilla grab the goose by the neck and throw it a thousand feet into the air? Does the gorilla run away like a frightened child? Zoo goers at the Sedgewick County Zoo witnessed the strange encounter this week.

We’ll get to the video in a second but first let’s take a look at the match-up.

In the blue corner we have Barney the gorilla.

Barney, a 20-year-old western lowland gorilla, weighs about 450 pounds and stands about 6 feet tall. He’s a native of Africa and is known to battle with his gorilla brothers for dominance in the troop. Barney the gorilla has only one mortal enemy: The goose.

In the red corner we have an unnamed goose from Canada.

The goose is not formerly listed as one of the zoo’s animals and rumor has it that the goose flew all the way down from his Canadian home to pick a fight with Barney. The Canada goose stands at about 3 feet tall but has a wing span close to 6 feet long. The goose may call the jovial country of Canada home but it is known to show a fierce side when it feels threatened.

So, who’s your pick? Who will win the epic showdown between Barney the gorilla and the Canada Goose?
