Ivanka Trump, the oldest daughter of Donald Trump, is pregnant with her second child with husband Jared Kushner.
The 31-year-old is due to give birth in the fall , a source told Page Six .
Trump gave birth to her first child, Arabella Rose, in July 2011. She recently told Forbes that she would “love to have three children, maybe four.” She also admitted that motherhood is her priority , but that she has to balance it with her career. Not only does she run her own fashion company, but she is also the Executive Vice President of Development & Acquisitions at The Trump Organization. She also discussed balancing work and motherhood with Us Weekly last month.
“For me, while balance is something that I strive for, [it’s something] you can’t always plan for,” she said. “My measure is just every day asking myself, ‘Do I have the right priorities?’ and ‘Am I making the right decision?’”
Trump also confessed that she has a bit of separation anxiety when she leaves her daughter.
“Oh, every morning I’m so sad to leave Arabella. But it’s important for me to continue what I’m doing,” she said. “It’s fulfilling to me, and I think it makes me a better mom when I’m home.”
While Trump’s father may not seem like it based on his public appearance, she said he is a loving and caring grandfather, even though he has never helped out with diaper duty .
“Oh he takes her all the time — but with me … He wouldn’t know what to do if she was crying or needed a diaper change. Although I think he’d figure it out,” Trump said. She added that her father has always been there for her and her siblings, and now that they all work for him, they’ve become closer than ever.
There is no word yet on whether Ivanka Trump is having a boy or girl.
