Lindsay Lohan appeared on The Late Show With David Letterman last night in order to promote her new movie Scary Movie 5 . But Dave wasn’t really interested in the new movie. He wanted to talk about rehab. The comedian made Lohan cry last night after asking her several questions about her personal problems.
Letterman didn’t hold back during his interview with Lohan. The actress was barely in her seat when he launched his first rehab question.
Dave said: “Aren’t you supposed to be in rehab right now?”
Letterman asked her how many times she’s been to rehab and what she was going to do differently this time around. He also tried to get Lohan to admit that she was an alcoholic and begged her to ease up on the drinking.
Lohan said: “I’m a target. And I’ve put myself in bad positions in the past. And I take full responsibility for it. And it wasn’t funny and I was being immature and I was going through a phase. But you grow up and you mature. It’s a process of life.”
Lohan did her best to make light of Dave’s questions. She even stole his notes at one point to slow down on the barrage. But Lohan couldn’t escape the hot seat and she eventually started to cry.
But it wasn’t all criticism and accusations. Letterman did compliment Lohan, saying : “We never thought we’d see you again, honestly, because of the jokes and stuff. But yet you have enough spine, enough sense of yourself, enough poise to come out here and talk to me.”
