Justin Bieber And Selena Gomez’s Relationship Is Deader Than A Dead Thing

Selena Gomez is totally done with Justin Bieber and couldn’t care less about being included in her ex-boyfriend’s upcoming 3D movie.

Despite sources previously saying that the actress was “flipping out,” “texting,” and demanding to be cut from Bieber’s in the works film — which is believed to have already begun shooting and uses footage from his 125-date ‘Believe’ world tour — E! News now reports sources close to Gomez as saying:

“There is absolutely no truth to this.”

Gomez is currently putting the finishing touches on her new album which is set for release in April. But don’t expect any direct references to a certain 19-year-old pop star or any heavy ballads either.

Jason Evigan, one half of the production team that worked on the 20-year-old’s album, recently told MTV News that Gomez’s brief to them was upbeat. Evigan, who is also one of the co-writers on Gomez’s leaked track “Rule the World,” said:

“She didn’t really want to talk about the Justin stuff too much in her music. She didn’t want to bash him. She never wanted to write songs about him.”

The writer-producer added: “And I think that’s why it’s funny ’cause even the song ‘Rule the World’… it sounded like it was written about that. And I think she was upset about it because she didn’t want to write a song about ‘You broke my heart.’… She wants to be empowering for these girls not to dwell on guys when guys break your heart.”

Bieber and Gomez initially split last November, then briefly reunited before the actress finally called time on their just under two year relationship when she walked out halfway through their Mexican vacation in December.

Since then, Gomez’s stinger on Late Show with David Letterman that she had made her ex cry made it clear she was over it already. Throw in her numerous statements about her new-found single life happiness and her “Douchebag” spot on YouTube, and the actress’ message is hard to miss.

The starlet is set to premiere her Stargate-produced lead single “Come and Get It” on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show April 8 before performing it at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards on April 14.

Bieber first announced plans for 3D movie on Twitter back in January when he tweeted:

“And yeah word is out… We are shooting a movie here in Miami. Need u all live tomorrow again!!”

It’s understood that G.I. Retaliation director Jon M. Chu, who steered Bieber’s first concert-movie Never Say Never — which grossed close to $100 million worldwide — is either helming the new project or playing a significant role in production.

It had been reported the “Boyfriend” singer was planning to feature footage of Gomez in the movie as well as the infamous London leg of his Believe tour, but now it seems Gomez may not make the cut.

According to TMZ, the actress’ separation from Bieber was anything but a clean break. Recently accused of sending mixed messages to the touring pop star, it had been suggested she was at the root of the heartbroken Canadian’s behavior on tour — and off it, allegedly.

However, unnamed sources hit back saying:

“[Justin] just bugs the s*** out of [Selena] and the only reason she picks up her phone is because it’s easier than dealing with harassment. It’s so typical that a man would blame a woman for the fact that he’s ruining his life and it’s sexist stupidity.”

Ain’t young love grand?
