Will Arnett Joins ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Reboot


Will Arnett has signed on for the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot.

Although the actor’s role in the Michael Bay production is being kept a secret, it has been confirmed that the Arrested Development alum has signed on for project.

Will Arnett’s involvement with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot is the latest slice of casting news to come out of the production. Bay and Megan Fox reportedly squashed the feud between them in order to cast the actress as April O’Neil.

This isn’t the first time Arnett and Megan Fox has shared a set together. The pair were previously cast in the Josh Brolin box office disappointment Jonah Hex.

The upcoming live action-CGI hybrid has already cast the guys who will portray the iconic heroes in the upcoming film. Pete Ploszek, Jeremy Howard, Noel Fisher, and Alan Ritchson have all signed on to tackle the heroes in Bay’s production.

The main characters that have yet to be cast in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot are Shredder, Splinter, and Casey Jones.

The movie, which has been renamed Ninja Turtles, is expected to be completed in time for its June 6, 2014 release date. Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec will handle scripting duties on the picture, while Michael Andrew Form, Brad Fuller, Jason Reed, Galen Walker, and Scott Mednick will produce.

Will Arnett can also be found in the upcoming fourth season of the acclaimed sitcom Arrested Development. The latest installment of the comedy will makes its debut on the Netflix streaming service. Every episode in the season will be available at once.

The actor has also signed on for a sitcom from veteran TV guy Greg Garcia. The pilot is being developed by the folks at CBS. Arnett will also provide the voice Batman in the upcoming Lego Movie.
