Amanda Bynes Skips Court Date

Amanda Bynes was scheduled to appear in court today to deal with her suspended license but that apparently wasn’t on the former star’s to do list.

According to OMG!, Bynes skipped her court date this morning.

The actress’s attorney, Richard Hutton, showed up in her place and asked the judge for a continuance. Bynes is now scheduled to appear in court on May 9.

The actress had her license suspended after she was arrested for a DUI last year. The actress, who was involved in several hit-and-runs last Summer, was arrested in September for driving without a license.

On Tuesday, Bynes’ attorney was advised that his client will only be granted one more continuance in her misdemeanor driving on a suspended license case.

The actress was scheduled to appear in court at the end of last year but Bynes couldn’t find the time. She eventually plead not-guilty to hit-and-run charges and had the case settled out of court when she reached a civil compromise with the other drivers involved in the accident.

Bynes still has to appear in court for driving without a license. The judge granted a continuation today but according to E! Online the judge warned Bynes’ lawyer saying that it would be last time that the actress will be allowed to miss court.
