‘RHOBH’ Casting Call Nets Few Applicants [Rumor]

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills put out a casting call, but had few viable takers, if insider source claims are accurate. Adrienne Maloof will not be returning next season and opted to skip the Q&A session with Andy Cohen during the reunion shows.

RHOBH is reportedly seeking at least one new cast member for the Bravo series. One source called being on Real Housewives a “huge honor” but noted that all of the mean girl antics are scaring off the “right type” of women.

Folks who are not fans of reality shows likely would not find it surprising that professional or prominent women would pass on an offer join the RHOBH cast. The insider source also maintained that three seasons of watching the women tear into one another has taken a toll on the casting process.

If online rumors are correct Bravo has been told “No thank you,” by several women who have been approached about joining the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast. A source reportedly close to the casting process said, “They don’t want to become the target for all the b****in**s.”

Andy Cohan made mention of LeAnn Rimes joining RHOBH during the first part of the reunion show, but many fans feel he was merely joking. Rimes, both a singer and an actress, allegedly said previously that she had no interest in becoming a Real Housewives star. Hollywood Life claims RHOBH “reached out” to Rimes multiple times about joining the cast. Taylor Armstrong is reportedly worried about the amped up level of insanity that would result from Eddie Cibrian’s wife joining the cast. Brandi Glanville appeared to not like the idea of Rimes becoming a cast member when Cohen posed the idea during the first part of the reunion show.

Although the 90210 zip code is one of the wealthiest in America, money is not the only requirement for becoming a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills maven. Potential cast members must also allegedly boast interesting and bold personalities, boring does not score ratings. When asked about the type of personality traits the RHOBH casting call is seeking, “strong” was at the top of the list. Why? According to the source, stepping into such a “shark tank” would not be an easy task for anyone.

Would you want to be a RHOBH cast member?
