Paul Walker Thriller ‘Vehicle 19’ Gets A Trailer [Video]


Paul Walker finds danger behind the wheel of a car once again in the thriller Vehicle 19.

The Fast and Furious 6 co-star plays Michael Woods, a man who finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. When he picks up a seemingly ordinary car from a rental service, he soon discovers that the police deperately want what’s inside the trunk.

Vehicle 19 is the second feature from writer-director Mukunda Michael Dewil. The filmmaker previously stepped behind the camera for the South African thriller Retribution. It’s currently unknown when his collaboration with Paul Walker will arrive in theaters.

Ketchup Entertainment describes the film as follows:

“A recently paroled man is given the wrong vehicle at a rental company and stumbles upon key evidence in a corruption trial. After being framed by crooked cops, he must circumvent an entire police force in a city he doesn’t know if he is to clear his name and get the evidence to the prosecution in time.”

Paul Walker has made a career out of playing guys who find themselves in dangerous situations while behind the wheel of an automobile. In addition the Fast and the Furious franchise, Walker also starred in the 2001 thriller Joy Ride with Steve Zahn and Leelee Sobieski.

The busy actor has a number of projects currently lined up at the moment. Walker is slated to star in writer Luc Besson and director Camille Delamarre’s Brick Mansions. The film is an American remake of the popular French action flick District 13.

Walker has also been tapped to star in the reboot of the Hitman series. Agent 47 finds the Running Scared star tackling a role that was previously embodied by Justified actor Timothy Olyphant. Filming on this particular production is expected to begin this summer.
