The wild weather on the U.S. West Coast continues with news today that a tornado may have struck Ventura on the outskirts of Los Angeles.
According to reports, the alleged tornado damaged two areas of the city, lifting a car into a tree, damaging homes and taking out power.
Witnesses described seeing a wind funnel touch the ground prior to the damage being caused. No injuries have been reported.
The National Weather Service has not confirmed the tornado though, and are suggesting it may have been a “microburst.”
