Lindsay Lohan is not happy about being thrown under the bus at the tail-end of a lengthy “woe is me” Instagram post from Justin Bieber, but she reportedly believes that karma will avenge her.
You all know by now that Justin Bieber’s celebrity star is starting to crack a bit , and that the young Canadian pop sensation is sort of going through his first existential crisis at the ripe old age of 19 (remember, celebrity years are like dog years).
In a lengthy post on Instagram yesterday, Bieber targeted his haters, but stressed that his career was only just beginning. He also said that he only has love in his heart, advised us to not listen to his critics in the press, and oh, by the way, he’s nothing like Lindsay Lohan because he’s rich and pays his taxes.
Seems kind of like that came out of nowhere, doesn’t it? Bieber’s management team seemed to think so, as the post was pulled shortly after it went up. But because this is the Internet, where nothing ever goes away, screencaps of the post were taken, and the press pushed it out to every corner of the globe.
Eventually, it landed on Lohan’s doorstep . And she is none too happy about being called out for no reason.
Sources tell TMZ that Lohan was “appalled” when she read what Bieber wrote about her on Instagram, specifically, “… to those comparing me to Lindsay Lohan look at her 2012 tax statements ;)”.
The post was deleted and Bieber actually apologized, but it’s too little, too late. Lohan reportedly says that “karma” will come back to haunt the Biebs for the post.
Lohan feels that Bieber’s comments were “senseless and mean,” and more than a little confusing since she’s never had any sort of feud with him. Lohan is a very easy target, but I kind of agree with her. She’s been trying her damnedest to keep her head down over the past year, and though she’s dealing with many of her old problems (and a few new ones), she’s really trying to reform her image.
Still, Lohan is apparently willing to brush it off, and has become accustomed to the negativity. But I think Bieber at least owes her an explanation.
