Jillian Barberie Splits From Husband Grant Reynolds
Jillian Barberie and her husband Grant Reynolds are calling it quits.
The former Good Day LA host recently announced her split from Reynolds. The two are ending their marriage after six years.
“It is with great regret that my marriage to Grant is ending after more than six years. He is a special man and we have two amazing children together,” Jillian Barberie said in a statement.
She added, “This was a mutual decision that was not taken lightly, and we are committed to our children and will work together to ensure their happy and healthy upbringing.”
Barberie and Reynolds have a five-year-old daughter and a three-year-old son together. It’s unclear if either party has officially filed for divorce.
This isn’t the first time to former EX-treme Dating host has been married. Jillian Barberie married baseball star Bret Barberie in 1996. The couple were divorced in 2002.
Jillian is best known as the host of Good Day LA and her Fox Sports Fox NFL Sunday pregame shows during the early 2000s. In addition to her hosting gigs, Barberie has appeared in episodes of V.I.P., Yes, Dear, Melrose Place, and Arli$$.
Barberie and Reynolds most recently appeared together in the reality series Househusbands of Hollywood after tying the knot in 2006.
Fans of the Good Day LA co-host were shocked when Jillian announced she had been let go from her position with the program last September.
“Just informed I am no longer on @GDLA It’s been an amazing 2 decade run! I will always be grateful for the fun and opportunity!” she tweeted after receiving the news.
Barberie would later clarify this statement on her official blog. Although she wasn’t “fired” from the show, KTTV didn’t want her to host the program anymore.
“But the truth is, I loved being on set. Teasing Steve, doing celebrity interviews and working off script and ad libbing! It’s what I do. I could not imagine doing any other role on that show after almost two decades!” she wrote.
